Catenian Association
The Catenian Association was set up in 1908 to develop social bonds and support among Catholic families.
The Association is divided into local branches, or Circles, and the Northampton Circle was founded almost 90 years ago in 1918, immediately after the 1st World War.
The Association is based on the principles of Faith, Friendship and Family. Its activities are mainly social, promoting friendship and faith among Catholic families, but also providing practical and financial support when necessary.
We have a national Benevolent Fund for those in need of help and a Bursary Fund that provides financial support to young Catholics seeking to help others. We also raise money for the local SVP and other Northamptonshire charities.
The Northampton Circle meets every month and if you would like to find out more about the Association and our local activities please contact Steve Mason on 01933 400720.
